TWO ADDITIONAL CONCIERGES AWARDED “LES CLEFS D’OR” HONOR AT TRUMP® INTERNATIONAL HOTEL WAIKIKI

(HONOLULU, HI) March 28, 2016 – Two concierges at Trump International Hotel Waikiki, Mr. Dennis Noah and Ms. Lisa Sapp, have earned the Les Clefs d’Or Golden Key award, recognizing their dedication to maintaining the highest standards of concierge service. There are less than two dozen concierges in the State of Hawaii with this designation. Noah and Sapp are two of three at Trump Waikiki with the honor, out of the fourteen total on the island of Oahu.

Les Clefs d'Or is an organization committed to improving the quality of service provided by concierge around the world. The organization encourages members to continually advance their abilities, ensuring they can provide excellent travel experiences for all guests. The membership process includes an application, phone interview, test call, background check, and written exam. In addition to the rigorous process, applicants must have five-years of lobby-level concierge experience. The keys are seen as a symbol, as Les Clefs d’Or is French and literally translates as "keys of gold." The crossed gold keys on members’ lapels are the international symbol of the organization and ensure guests are working with an experienced concierge who is dedicated to providing excellent service to all.

Mr. Noah has been with Trump Waikiki for six years and also has served on the Concierge Association of Hawaii since 2011, where he is now the Vice President of Public Relations. “Our profession is challenging but exciting as we are constantly adapting to an ever-changing industry,” says Noah. “The key to success is tailoring a well-fitted response to each guest request, as all visitors are unique and have different needs.”

With fifteen years of experience in the hospitality industry, and nearly six years at Trump Waikiki, Ms. Sapp also has been an active member of the Concierge Association of Hawaii for five years, where she holds the title of Vice President of Finance. Her passion is apparent as she speaks about her role, “I love being a Concierge because it presents a unique opportunity every day, with new chances to learn, challenge, and be of service to our Guests and fellow Associates. Achieving my membership into Les Clef d'Or brings me personal pride and accomplishment. Next to being blessed with my two boys, there is no feeling greater than being part of the very best in my profession.”
