Reindeer on the River – Saturday, November 23
Celebrate the launch of the holiday season with an array of family-friendly activities on Chicago’s Riverwalk and the Riverside Gallery benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital! Throughout the afternoon, guests will enjoy magical meet-and-greets with Santa and his reindeer, holiday-themed takeaways for children, celebratory music, games, prizes, hot cider & cocoa, savory bites and seasonal sweet treats by Executive Pastry Chef Melania Castegnaro. Coinciding with BMO Harris Bank Magnificent Mile Lights Festival, Reindeer on the River welcomes all visitors, with exclusive package options available. Sweet Ride: The Gingerbread Express – Saturday, November 23-Monday, December 31
All season long, guests will be transported to a holiday wonderland in Trump Hotel Chicago’s Gingerbread Express. The property has designated one special elevator traveling up to the hotel’s signature restaurant, Terrace 16, that will be decked in everyone’s favorite holiday indulgences – gingerbread, candy canes and more sweet treats. Envisioned by the hotel’s stellar culinary team, guests who ride the Gingerbread Express will be greeted by the sweet aromas of the season, celebratory holiday music and more than 1,200 gingerbread bricks made in-house. Thanks and Giving Campaign
Give hope this holiday season and help Trump Hotels and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital fight childhood cancer by purchasing a teddy bear for $20, with 100 percent of proceeds donated to St. Jude throughout the holiday season. In another charitable initiative, from November 1 through December 31, The Spa at Trump will also offer “Mani for a Cure”, where 10 percent of total sales from all manicures booked will be donated to the organization. Guests can expect traditional Thanksgiving staples with a delicious, contemporary twist on this favorite American holiday. Family and friends may all gather around and enjoy a three- or four-course feast, both of which include: Fried Brussels Sprouts (bacon, sherry vinegar), Autumn Wedge (butternut squash, prosciutto chip, shallot, mobay cheese and pomegranate vinaigrette), Roasted Ferndale Turkey (sausage and leek stuffing, pan gravy), Sweet Potato Strudel (orange, rosemary, honey and pistachio) and Warm Apple Upside Down Cake (vanilla bean ice cream, caramel popcorn).
