On Saturday, March 16 from 8:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., guests are invited to revel in green bliss in the hotel’s Grand Ballroom as they enjoy an Irish-inspired brunch buffet; a premium open bar complete with spirits, wine, beer and of course Irish-inspired cocktails; music from the Shannon Rovers Irish Pipe Band with a special appearance by the Sheila Tully Academy of Irish Dance Group; a special Whiskey tasting; and a make-your-own Irish coffee and chocolate bar! Terrace 16 opens its sprawling patio to give guests the ultimate view of the Chicago River dyeing. Beginning at 8:00 a.m. guests are welcome to step out and enjoy the best view in the city before or after dining at the restaurant where they will be treated to a menu of Irish-inspired specials and cocktails served all day long. The Heart of an Irishman at Rebar
Rebar chases the rainbow with a party like no other. Guests are able to watch the waves of the river turn green starting at 8:00 a.m., while being treated to an incredible DJ, talented bagpipers and a special appearance by lucky leprechauns! The room will be glowing green while guests dine on Irish-inspired bites, along with beer, mimosas and Bloody Mary’s all colored green. Irish beer selections as well as signature St. Patty’s cocktails including the Shamrocktini (Irish whiskey, Godiva white chocolate, crème de menthe, mint) an Irish Mule (Irish whiskey, lime ginger beer) and the Pot O’ Gold (White rum, coconut, pineapple, midori, white wine, gold coconut rim) will be available for attendees.
